The Blue Star Programme is a programme which was launched on the 7th of February this year. It was launched by Minister Lucinda Creighton and An Taoiseach Enda Kenny. The aim of the programme is to increase children’s awareness of our country’s membership of the European Union.
We here at the Dominican Primary School were one of the first schools in Ireland to sign up for Blue Star! As part of the project the children and their teachers must carry out projects in the following areas:
- Historical
- Geographical
- Cultural
- Institutional
